This wire is suitable for welding 1.3343 and HSS. The wire is HSS and is used, among other things, to weld punching tools and other cutting tools where you want a sharp edge with long stand time. The wire is also used for welding of assaults exposed to wear. The hardness after welding is dependent on the process and cannot be determined with accuracy. After welding with a TracyTec welding machine, the hardness is between 61 and 63 HRC. Tests have been carried out in the department of metallurgy at the University of Rzeszow, Poland.
