1.2344

This versatile welding wire offers excellent properties and is particularly suitable for repairs and modifications to aluminium pressure moulds. It has properties very similar to our 1.2343 wire, and the two wires can be used for overlapping applications.
The hardness of the weld depends on the welding process and cannot be determined precisely in advance. When welded using a TracyTec welding machine, the resulting hardness is between 46 and 52 HRC.
Tests have been conducted by the Department of Metallurgy at the University of Rzeszów, Poland.
