EDM Functionality
The handheld EDM function can remove material from rough surfaces and can work faster than conventional abrasive stones in suitable applications. It can also be used for applications such as opening gates, creating undercuts and producing markings.
At the lowest power setting, the process can achieve a surface roughness of Ra 0.2, according to the supplied product material.
Textured Surface Repair
The TTP-500 features 99 power levels, allowing precise adjustment when repairing textured and spark-eroded surfaces. This makes it possible to reproduce and repair damaged areas with a high degree of control.
Reverse EDM
In Reverse EDM mode, electrode material is deposited onto the workpiece rather than removed from it. This function is commonly used for applying tungsten coatings to mould surfaces.
